I am finally free to update! Well, most nights I am quite free but I'm just too lazy to blog. Anyway, classes are starting to get harder so I've been a little bit worried, especially about my Business Statistics paper, QBM 101 as my mathematics weren't very good, back in my secondary school days. Because I wasn't very serious about school so I didn't work hard for my subjects and as everyone knows, math requires practice, which means hard work and commitment. T_T I'm now paying the price for my laziness. Gosh. Thank God Dr. Harjeet is a good lecturer, thank God I'm a bit more serious about school and thank God for my friends in college, (you know who you guys are =D) if there's anything I wasn't quite sure about I ask them. I don't think I'm exceptionally bad in statistics, just that I don't really have much faith in myself. I have no confidence as I always think that my answers are somewhat wrong...Well, hard work is always the key to success, no? I will gambateh!!!
So last week (Friday), my house here in PJ was broken into. Fortunately I was having replacement class that day so I left house at 6.50 am. At around 9am during my break, I received an SMS from my housemate, Michael saying that someone broke into our house. I was so worried that that thief really did manage to steal something and my worse fear was my laptop, followed by some cash I have in my drawer. Another SMS from him managed to calm my nerves as he said the thief cut open our grill door, where the padlock was latched and he went into the room downstairs and saw my housemate sleeping. When my housemate (Kent) woke up, he fled the house. So thank God that my room wasn't downstairs, as he would have taken my stuff since I wasn't home. Thank God he did not break into the house when everyone is at work (in fact, he broke in when everyone was sleeping at home, except me of course, at around 7.45 am) There were even two cars that belong to my housemates that were parked inside, omg he had some nerve! I was sort of paranoid for two whole days as I was worried he will come back. Typing this now makes me nervous as well as I am alone T_T Maybe I should go and lock the gate, the break in scares me to death. We now lock almost everything, from the gate's padlock to the grill and wooden door. We even padlock the grill door, in fear that something like this will happen again. Who knows, we might not be so lucky next time =(((
The modem or router (not sure) in my house was also dead the last few days so I did not manage to go online, boo! Patrick and Kent finally got us a new one and I finally get to satisfy my online needs, haha!
I have a group assignment due on the 10th of July. Problem is, I don't even know what to do as the lecturer is...*ahem* She's pretty good during tutorials though, probably IT is just not for me xD
Will be going back on the 3rd for the weekend =) Duncan insists that I go back with Aeroline as he doesn't trust other bus companies (he thinks that they are all unscruplous, unlicensed drivers) Oh well...
Another thing, my printer ink seller is not stocking anymore =( Anyone who can sell me HP Printer inks cheap? BOOHOO!
On a good note, Duncan & I are having Sushi Zanmai tonight! His treat =D (payday mah)
***Sushi Zanmai has the best sushiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
